The Honey Badger

Who knew that a Nasty A** Honey Badger could provide so much entertainment.

It all started with this video.

And ended with a 196.1 mile relay race between Chattanooga and Nashville.

So today I am thankful the honey badger. The honey badger provided my Ragnar Relay Team, The East Nasty A** Honey Badgers with a great team theme and lots of laughs. If you have never done a relay race, I highly recommend it!

East Nasty

Today I am thankful for East Nasty. East Nasty is my running group. So many great things have come from it. So many new friends and experiences. My heart is full with love for East Nasty. This week I am honored to be chosen as East Nasty of the Week! Check out the write up over at East Nasty For Life.

I am off to run in Ragnar TN! The 200ish mile relay race between Chattanooga and Nashville with 11 other East Nasty runners. Here's to a fun and crazy 36ish hours!

Rainy Days

Today I am thankful for rainy days. Not all days are sunny, but that doesn't make them bad.

One of my good friends is Dutch and lives in the Netherlands. Today I am thankful for her text message to my new phone. Now we just need to figure out how to make imessage work...

Friends

Today I am thankful for my friends. My friend Jess in particular.

A friend who convinced me to go out on Halloween.
A friend who reminded me about a costume I wore to a Halloween party we went to together 5 years ago when I couldn't think of anything to wear.
A friend who I can share exciting news with.
A friend I can laugh with.
A friend I can cry with.
A friend I can dance with until 2 AM.

It happened all last night.

I am thankful for my friend Jess.

I Didn't Have a Camera By My Side

Today I am thankful for the beautiful sunset I saw on my way to winter speed sessions.  It has been so dreary and dark the past few months in the evenings.  And it was nice to see some color in the sky.

I'm Still Thankful

No pictures, but that doesn't mean I am not thankful.

• Today I am thankful I packed my gym bag so I could go to yoga after work.
• Diet Coke.
• The new that Bon Iver is working on a new album.
• Booking a flight to Washington in September.
